// student-led zine
// publication & web design
The idea for starting this informal zine came from a desire to create connection and self expression in a newly virtual setting. By definition, “Craeft” is having the wisdom of one’s surroundings, understanding one’s context, and knowing one’s materials. It is learning how objects and systems fall apart and it is a holistic perspective on the world. The structure of each Cræft prompt is based on the foundation of this definition: environment (why), systems (how), and materials (what). Cræft’s goal is to provide a platform for architecture students to apply their academic skill set to express their ideas, statements, reactions or sentiments about the state of the world today.
